I’m so glad I had the opportunity to work at Apple on the Marcom team, to integrate Apple’s design philosophy into their own internal tools. As a UX designer, I’ve been responsible for improving the current solutions to a better one, and also delivering new solutions to provide the user experience of internal tools used daily by multiple teams.
What did I work on? 💡
1 End-to-end Solution
During these 10 months at Apple, I designed a solution for a critical data management tool from initial sketch to final delivery. From the beginning, I worked with the product manager to identify the goals and needs from users. During the design process, I’ve tried to give the best design solution which matched with the user needs. I also collaborated with developers to ensure the design quality was good and there were no problems to build it.
5 Internal Tools
I worked on multiple projects for file management and the CMS, for both apple.com and WWDC 2020. I helped improve the work flow for each product, leading to improved user experience. Because I was working on different project as same time, I needed to quickly get the right solution for each one. Throughout, good communications with all stakeholders was crucial to success.
Working With Multiple Teams/Work Processes
By working with so many projects and teams simultaneously, my ability to juggle multiple roles, as well as, communicate with team members improved tremendously.
Due to Apple’s NDA, I am unable to share any of the visuals or screens from the projects I did. If you want to know more information, please contact me directly. 🙋♀️
